Members of Laudium Disaster Management were called to a house fire shortly before 5:30am on Saturday morning.
The fire caused extensive damage to the kitchen.
LDM, PAJ Community Patrollers with the help of residents assisted to extinguish the blaze before the City of Tshwane fire department arrived.
No injuries were reported on scene.
