A motor vehicle accident involving four vehicles occurred on the M26 Erasmia back road just before the R55 turnoff. The vehicles involved were a VW Polo, a Mercedes-Benz, and two bakkies.
Emergency services are on the scene. It has been confirmed that children were in one of the vehicles. The extent of injuries are unknown at this stage.
