A Rinkhals snake spits out venom and hoods up just like a Cobra before it attacks.
Snake expert Mahomed Haroon was called out to a Claudius residence this morning, to catch the snake that was in the side of the yard.
The Rinkhals measured approximately 1.0 metre in length and was safely released, where it will not come in contact with any humans but have a sufficient food source.
Haroon urges people not to try and catch any snake by themselves – they should always call an expert to remove it.
