Laudium Cricket Club’s juniors have once gain made the club and the community proud by being selected to represent the Titans in their respective age groups. After a grueling 6 week period which included 4 rounds of trials, 8 of our boys received the good news earlier this week.
The players selected are
Sahl Mohamed (under 12), Zaakir Khan and Areeb Qasim (under 13), Aboobaker Aboo, Rehaan Patel and Abubaker Rasool (under 15) and Suliman Bhamji and Safwaan Sujee (under 19).
The club would also like to congratulate former Laudium player Abah Joshi who earned her place in the girls under 19 provincial team.
Suhail Mohamed, head of junior cricket at the club, thanked coach Lebo and his team as well as the players for their hard work and commitment. Despite not having the resources of the more affluent schools and clubs, Laudium cricket Club has once again shown that we can produce players of the highest quality.
