Planned Power Outage - Laudium and surrounds 09 Dec 2024

Dear Residents, Update on Electricity Repair Work I received calls from the Directors of PPC Cement and the Regional Head of Tshwane Region 4. I expressed my frustration, as well as that of our residents, regarding the ongoing power outages. After discussions, they requested a two-hour window to repair the faulty line supplying power to the mines and farms in Erasmia. With some reluctance, I agreed to this request, as it will also enable the restoration of power to residents currently without electricity. The planned power outage will occur tomorrow (Tuesday) from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I want to emphasize that the frequent power outages and water outages are unacceptable. I will continue to advocate for our community's interests and push for reliable service delivery.
