The Department of Minerals and Energy has confirmed that the price of petrol 93 octane will decrease by R1.05 per litre in July while 95 octane will decrease by 99 cents per litre.
At the same time, the diesel price will decrease by between 24 and 30 cents per litre.
Illuminating Paraffin will decrease by 24 cents at the retail level, and LP gas will decrease by 22 cents per kilogram.
The prices are effective from Thursday 04 July 2024.
