Social Activist, Yusuf Abramjee calls on South Africans to vote

Social Activist, Yusuf Abramjee, has called on South Africans to go out and make their mark today.

Millions of registered voters are going to polling stations.

“While some stations started off slowly, it’s good to see momentum picking up,” said Abramjee.

He cast his ballot at the Zwartkop Lapa in Centurion.

“IEC officials were very efficient and professional. There was a queue but it moved quickly,” said Abramjee.

“I hear some people saying it’s a waste of time to vote. It’s not! Your vote counts and you need to elect leaders you trust,” he said.

Around the Laudium area, no major hiccups were reported and there is a steady stream of voters.
