City of Tshwane Speaker, Mncedi Ndzwanana, paid a visit to The Garden Social Services, a local NGO in Laudium, last Tuesday, where he commended the organisation for its outstanding work. During his visit, Moulana Aboobaker Chouglay led the Speaker on a tour of Bambinos, a facility housing 20 orphans, as well as Assisted Living Homes, which provides care for numerous elderly residents.
The Garden Social Services provides vital services that transform lives, including assisted living homes and youth empowerment programs. The Speaker expressed his appreciation for the NGO's dedication to supporting vulnerable members of the community.
Following his visit, Ndzwanana is set to visit other projects run by The Gardens Social Services north of Pretoria this week. Prior to his visit, the Speaker met with social activist Yusuf Abramjee to discuss community projects and initiatives.
