In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Cllr Naeem Patel, accompanied by members of the Ward 61 Residents Association, Ward Committee, and Laudium Community Police Forum, visited two special needs schools in Laudium today. The visit was part of Cllr Patel's 5th annual blanket drive, aimed at bringing warmth and joy to the kids of Ward 61. Last week Cllr Patel put a smile on the faces of the seniors in the community, this week it was the turn of the Juniors.

The team visited Little Peoples Learning Academy in Erasmia and Edu Clinic in Laudium, both of which cater to children with mental, physical, or learning disabilities. Blankets were handed out to the students, and the team had a chance to interact with the kids and learn about the challenges faced by the schools.

Cllr Patel expressed his joy and admiration for the resilience and determination of the students, saying, "There is no greater joy than seeing a happy child, and the smile on these kids' faces was priceless." The principals of both schools thanked the team for taking the time to visit and interact with the students, and for the generous donation of blankets.

This visit is a testament to the strong sense of community in Laudium, where residents, community leaders, and law enforcement come together to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
