A woman was fatally shot in the bush area on Cuprene Street opposite the Langar Khana early this morning.
The victim, described as a white female, was allegedly shot multiple times at approximately 5:30am. Residents living nearby reported hearing several gunshots during the early hours of the morning.
In a statement issued to residents, the CPF confirmed that the South African Police Service (SAPS) had been notified and that an investigation into the incident is underway.
Security personnel, SAPS and members of LDM are on the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased. The motive for the attack remains unknown at this stage.
The CPF said further updates would be shared as more information becomes available.
